The One Economy Foundation does not provide general funding for businesses, institutions, or studies. However, within our Youth Opportunity (YO!) Pillar, we allocate funding to participants who demonstrate exceptional potential and innovative solutions within their businesses and communities. This allocation is facilitated through our Financial Literacy Workshops and Skills and Capacity Building programmes.
Further, through the Talented Individuals Programme (TIP), funding is provided for studies. Please note that application cycles apply, and currently, the TIP programme is not open for applications.
No, the One Economy Foundation does not provide scholarship opportunities.
However, we focus on various programmes, dialogues, workshops and training aimed at supporting economic advancement and equity. For more information on our initiatives, please explore our website or get in touch with us directly.
The #BeFree Cares Clinic primarily provides services within the scope of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR). Unfortunately, patients presenting with conditions such as diarrhoea, high fever, headaches, high blood pressure, and influenza are outside our primary service focus. These patients will be referred to state hospital facilities for appropriate medical care.
Upon submission, applications will undergo a verification process. Successful applicants will be notified via SMS regarding their approval and will then be contacted to schedule an appointment for their membership card photograph. The processing time depends on the volume of applications pending review.
We are apolitical and we welcome young people regardless of their political affiliation, gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, religion, or nationality. We uphold strong values of non-discrimination and are intentional about ensuring demographic inclusivity in our programming, representation, and funding.
We occasionally receive items and/or donations, which are ad-hoc and dependent on One Economy donors, so we are not able to commit to timing, quantity or what the item will be available for us to forward to any organisation.
Any donations we give out will be publicised, and our team will identify where the need we can meet is greatest. We distribute these to vulnerable groups and/or individuals on our database. If you would like to be added to our database, please send an email to admin@1economy.org, specifying the needs and number of beneficiaries.
All cases of minor children are handled by social workers in the employ of the Ministry of Gender Equality, Poverty Eradication, and Social Welfare or any Police Station where the case warrants police intervention.
In cases where children need medical attention, the child should be taken to the nearest health facility, where a medical doctor will complete forms required for later use in court cases. Private medical doctors are usually not willing to testify in a court of law.
Requests for mentorship are among the most common requests the Office of the Executive Chairperson receives. Due to Mrs Geingos' scale of engagements and time constraints, it's extremely difficult to sustain one-on-one mentorship. In lieu of this, Mrs Geingos has structured her public engagements so that they enable her to share her views on a broad range of issues in the hope that this will assist with navigating complex spaces for young people and support professionals in growing in their careers.
