Raffle Ticket Competition Rules

REGULATORY AUTHORITY & PERMIT

  1. This raffle is conducted under a Benevolent Society permit/certificate issued by the Lottery Board of Namibia ("the Board") in terms of the Lotteries Act, 2017 (Act No. 13 of 2017), as amended.

  2. Certificate Number: BSC001/06/2026

  3. Net proceeds from the raffle will be applied solely to the charitable and public-benefit objectives of the Foundation as per the Memorandum and Articles of Association.

ELIGIBILITY

  1. The raffle is open to all natural persons who are 18 years of age or older at the date of ticket purchase.

  2. The following persons are not eligible to participate:

  • Directors, employees, interns and volunteers of the Foundation;

  • Immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, or sibling) of any of the above;

  • Any person prohibited by applicable Namibian law from participating in a lottery.

  1. By purchasing a ticket, a participant confirms that they satisfy the eligibility criteria.

RAFFLE TICKETS

  1. Ticket Price:N$300.00 per ticket.

  2. Tickets may only be purchased online via Webtickets and no tickets may be purchased outside the Webtickets platform.

  3. Total Number of Tickets:A maximum of 1000 tickets will be made available for sale.

  4. Sale Period:Tickets will be sold until 01 October 2026.Sales close at the evening of the event or when all tickets are sold, whichever occurs first.

  5. Each ticket carries a unique barcode. If done via digital means a digital audit trail report will be drawn.

  6. Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable after purchase.

  7. Each ticket constitutes one entry. Multiple tickets may be purchased per individual.

PRIZES

  1. Images, graphics and visual depictions of prizes used in advertisements are for illustrative purposes only

  2. Prizes are not transferable, not exchangeable, and may not be redeemed for cash unless otherwise stated.

  3. The Foundation reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the specified prize becomes unavailable.

  4. Prizes are subject to the terms, conditions and validity periods stipulated by the respective donors and suppliers.

THE DRAW

  1. The draw will take place on 01 October 2026 at Mercure Hotel Windhoek Namibia.

  2. Winners will be drawn by random selection in the presence of an independent witness or independent audience member.

  3. Each winning ticket is removed from the selection once drawn and the same ticket cannot win more than one prize.

  4. The draw is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome.

WINNER NOTIFICATION & PRIZE REDEMPTION

  1. Winners will be announced publicly at the Gala Dinner immediately after the draw.If a winner is not present, they will be notified by telephone or email within two (2) business days.

  2. Ticketholders must present the winning ticket to claim the prize. The prize can only be handed out if the ticket (barcode) is still valid. The organiser will take no responsibility for duplicated or counterfeit tickets. Winners not present must contact the Foundation within five (5) calendar days of the draw date.

  3. Prizes unclaimed after seven (7) calendar days of the draw shall be forfeited.Forfeited prizes may be disposed of at the sole discretion of the Foundation in accordance with permit conditions.

  4. Winners may be required to provide proof of identity (Namibian ID or passport) before a prize is released.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

  1. These rules are subject to the provisions of the Lotteries Act, 2017 and any conditions imposed by the Lottery Board of Namibia.

  2. The Foundation's decision on all matters relating to the raffle is final and binding.

  3. The Foundation accepts no liability for tickets that are lost, stolen, illegible, or damaged.

  4. Personal information collected in connection with this raffle will be processed in accordance with Namibia’s applicable data protection framework and will not be used for any purpose other than administering this raffle and complying with regulatory requirements.

  5. Participants must remain vigilant against potential fraud, scammers and phishing attempts. The One Economy Foundation is not accepting payments outside of the Webtickets platform for the One Impact Raffle. Valid raffle ticket purchases can only be made through the Webtickets platform or at Model stores that officially support Webtickets. Any transaction or payment made through an unofficial third party is invalid, and the Foundation bears no liability for resulting losses.

  6. The Foundation reserves the right to terminate or amend this competition at any time if it deems such termination to be necessary and appropriate.

  7. The laws of The Republic of Namibia govern these rules, terms and conditions and by entering this competition participants are deemed to have accepted the competitions terms and conditions and consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Magistrate Court of Windhoek for any proceedings arising out of or in connection with this promotion

  8. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these rules.
