On 13 June 2025, the One Economy Foundation, in partnership with MultiChoice Namibia, hosted a Content Creation Masterclass for 30 youth micro-entrepreneurs that aimed to equip participants with practical digital marketing and communication skills to enhance their brand visibility.
Held at MultiChoice Namibia, the masterclass featured speakers from Beso Media, Facilit8 Namibia, FoxGlove Digital, and CRAN.
The Corporate Affairs Manager at MultiChoice Namibia, Elzita Beukes, opened the event by highlighting the importance of how businesses present themselves online.
Malulu Angula, a Digital Marketing Specialist at MultiChoice Namibia, emphasised understanding the foundations of content:
what, how, where, and when to post. He encouraged young entrepreneurs to begin creating content without waiting for perfection and to learn by doing.
Speaking on the importance of content strategies, Betty Sibeso from Beso Media urged participants to define themes, goals, and target audiences to create consistent and purposeful content. She also helped them reflect on their current stage in the content journey to identify areas for growth.
Nrupesh Soni of Facilit8 Namibia introduced digital tools like Buffer, Later, and Meta Suite to help schedule content, along with analytics tools such as Social Blade and Google Trends for tracking performance.
FoxGlove Digital’s Paulo Coelho focused on brand storytelling, reminding entrepreneurs that the value of a brand lies in the narrative behind it. He stressed the importance of being intentional about brand identity.
Closing the session, Mufaro Nesongano from CRAN addressed the ethical use of digital platforms. He advised participants to respect copyright, obtain permission before sharing personal content, and always follow platform guidelines.
The One Economy Foundation thanks all partners and facilitators for empowering Namibia’s young entrepreneurs with the knowledge and tools to thrive in the digital economy.
